What we offer

Each school in NSW offers something slightly different depending on the community. Here's what we offer for you.

Canteen

All canteens in NSW public schools must meet certain requirements. These include providing more healthy food and drink options – to make the healthy choice an easy choice for students. Visit Healthy school canteens to learn more.

Opening hours

The school canteen is open from Monday to Friday and every Friday afternoon from 3pm to 3:30pm.

Staff

DMS are the canteen operators. The food is fresh and healthy and cooked at the canteen every day. The canteen ladies are Pina, Victoria and Daniella.

Children may buy food at recess and lunch time. Lunch orders are to be written on a paper bag with the child's name, class, item or items to be ordered, prices and total required.

Money is placed in the paper bag and children or parents will give the lunch order to the ladies in the canteen in the morning before school. Lunch orders can be placed until recess but no orders can be placed after this time. Any child who arrives to school late than recess will have to simply go to the canteen at lunch time and buy whatever is on offer at the canteen.

We provide an extensive canteen menu  which consists of a list of healthy eating options for your child(ren). Our canteen has an online ordering facility. Online ordering is convenient, providing a 24/7 payment and an ordering system that can be accessed from home, work or a mobile device. Registration is free and only takes a few minutes to complete. To register, go to Flexischools . Enter your email and you will be emailed a link to an online order form. Choose a username and password and complete the form. Add your child(ren) name and their class and top-up the account with credit card payments or use the bank transfer facility.Download the Flexischools canteen ordering app from the Apple store today. If your child attends PSSA sport or Blue Fit on Friday you need to write this on the large order so that lunch orders can be prepared early as these students leave before lunch time. The canteen has a Healthy Schools Accreditation and the food promoted is in line with the school canteen policy.

Uniforms

When students wear a school uniform, they feel included in our school community.

Students, teachers, parents and carers, as well as members of our local community helped develop our school uniform to make sure it:

  • meets the requirements of occupational health and safety, anti-discrimination and equal opportunity legislation

  • includes items that are affordable, comfortable and made from easy-care and easy-wear fabrics

  • is appropriate for the full range of school activities

  • is suitable for all body shapes.

Uniform shop

The school uniform shop is run by ESPA (Earlwood School Parent Association) which is a Parent and Community body that operates under the umbrella of the Federation of Parents and Citizens Association Constitution. Their role is to represent the needs and attitudes of the parents and the community in the school. They promote the interests of the school by bringing parents, citizens, pupils and teaching staff close co-operation and assist by fundraising for the school.

Usually, our wonderful volunteering parents open the shop on Tuesday mornings. Any changes to routine are distributed to the school community via Skoolbag notifications.  Our uniform shop map can assist you to locate the uniform shop.

You can also view or download our uniform shop order form (PDF 137KB). More details about how to order can be located on this form. Please send the attached order form to our email address espa.uniformshop@gmail.com once you have completed the order form, feel free to email us if you have questions. Uniforms can also be purchased via the online order system on the Skoolbag App. Orders are only processed on Tuesday evening. This is in preparation for orders to be  sent to classrooms by Friday.

School hats are always available from the school office for $17. (cash only)

All proceeds from the uniform sales go back to the school for the purchase of resources and learning materials for our students.
