Earlwood School Parent Association (ESPA)

Earlwood School Parent Association (ESPA) is a Parent and Community body that operates under the umbrella of the Federation of Parents and Citizens Association Constitution. Their role is to represent the needs and attitudes of the parents and the community in the school. They promote the interests of the school by bringing parents, citizens, students, and teaching staff close co-operation and assist by fundraising for the school.

The Parents & Citizens Association (the P&C) and school community organisations are autonomous associations, established under the Education Reform Act 1990 and operate under a ministerial approved constitution. The Act states that P&C associations and school community organisations are established to:

 - promote the interest of the school by bringing parents, citizens, students and teaching staff into close cooperation
assist in providing facilities and equipment for the school and promoting the recreation and welfare of the students at the school
-  encourage parent and community participation in curriculum and other educational issues in schools
report, when requested by the Minister, on the material requirements of the school and advise on the subject of maintenance of the school,  alterations, and additions to school facilities and the selection of new sites
- assist and cooperate with teaching staff at public functions associated with the school be responsible for the election of parent representatives to any school council constituted at the school in consultation with the principal of the school
- assist in any other matters in which the Minister may seek the cooperation of the Association.

ESPA usually meets twice a term.

When: Third and seventh week of every term
Location: School Hall ( Block A - Administration)

Uniform shop

Our school uniform shop is run by volunteers from our parent body (ESPA). It is located in C block next to the Greek classrooms which are facing Homer Street. All proceeds from the uniform sales go back to the school for the purchase of resources and learning materials for our students.

Our wonderful volunteering parents open the shop on Tuesday mornings for face to face sales between 8:30-9:30am.

Uniforms can also be purchased via the online order system on the Skoolbag App. Orders are only processed on Tuesday evening. This is in preparation for orders to be  sent to classrooms by Friday. 

School hats are always available from the school office for $17. (cash only)
