About our school

Earlwood Public School brings together students, parents and staff from diverse backgrounds, to live in a supportive, stimulating and harmonious environment.

The Earlwood Public School is committed to ensuring every student and teacher is inspired, challenged to learn and continually improve in a respectful, inclusive and supportive environment. Teachers, parents and students work in partnership towards school excellence to maintain high expectations and develop responsible, engaged and successful learners who are known, valued and cared for.

Students are encouraged to achieve their personal best, strengthen attributes of cooperation and resilience and engage in an active, healthy and sustainable lifestyle.

Our aim is to provide a vibrant and responsive public education system that produces literate, numerate, well-educated citizens with the capability and confidence to make a positive contribution to our society.

The school was established in 1916 and is committed to developing both academic and personal excellence in learning and life.

Our school community consists of 657 students. We are proud that our students represent a range of cultural groups with 90% coming from language backgrounds other than English. This diversity creates the opportunity for real life learning and authentic experiences for our students, both academically and socially.

Earlwood Public School caters for all learners with an academically selective stream, comprehensive stream and a support class for students with physical disabilities.
