Our school provides many different places, tools, and resources to help students learn. Whether students want to study, play sports, be creative, or use technology, we have what they need to do well and achieve success.
Our school facilities
We offer a range of learning environments. They help students stay engaged, build confidence and enjoy every part of their school day. Our facilities may include:

- vegetable garden for our classroom learning and environmental team

Well resourced classrooms
Earlwood Public School has classrooms rich in school history. Our classrooms are well resourced, bright, comfortable and create a welcoming, productive environment that supports student learning and engagement.
School museum
Our school museum showcases our 109-year history and is open to our school community during anniversary celebrations. It also supports students engage with the history curriculum by providing insights into the school’s past and how learning has evolved from then to now. Our students love exploring our museum.
K -2 open play spaces
The K-2 playground area is a safe and fun space for our students that encourages physical activity, coordination, social interaction, and outdoor learning.
Outdoor classrooms
Our school has outdoor classrooms located in the K-2 playground for classes to use for outdoor learning activities. This outdoor seating area behind our busy students features raised garden beds where our lunchtime environmental and gardening team grows vegetables and herbs.
Library
Our library is a vibrant, inviting, resource-filled, and cooperative learning environment dedicated to building a love of reading and fostering engagement with learning. It provides a safe, supportive, and inclusive space where students are encouraged to be inquisitive, creative, and develop a deeper understanding across all areas of the curriculum.
Sensory garden
Our sensory garden offers an engaging and exploratory experience for our K-2 students, featuring native bush foods that provides ameaningful connections to Indigenous culture, environmental awareness, and hands-on discovery, fostering curiosity and a deeper appreciation for Australia's natural heritage for our K - 6 students.
Imaginative play
The K-2 playground has a beautiful area for imaginative play, including a pirate ship with treasure chests.
School hall
Our school hall hosts assemblies, performances, concerts, public speaking, incursions, gymnastics, special events, art shows and vacation care. Our school hall is also used by after-school independent services who run programs that engage students in a variety of activities beyond the regular curriculum.
Outdoor learning areas
The outdoor learning areas outside the Kindergarten classroom are inviting and enjoyable spaces where children can learn, play, and share lunch with their class before heading to the K-2 playground to play with other. These areas encourage creativity, social interaction, and hands-on exploration that promotes the development of key early learning skills.
Technology and digital learning tools
Our classroom buildings are equipped with notebook trolley stations, ensuring easy access to laptops for student learning and activities. This setup supports flexible, technology-rich learning experiences for students across all grade levels within their classrooms. iPads, robotics like bluebots, ozobots, LEGO WeDo are also used engage students with the curriculum.
Technology hub
Our computer lab offers flexible learning space and a variety of digital devices for students in Year 2 to 6. The learning space support digital skills across the curriculum and cybersafety. Students explore ideas such as coding, robotics, multimedia creation and digital problem-solving to develop project solutions.
Out of School Hours Care (OSHC)
Our Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) is located at the end of the K-2 playground within our school grounds, making it easy for all students to move together safely between before and after school care and their school.
Greek community language classroom
The Greek community language classroom supports students in learning Greek language and culture through interactive lessons, storytelling, music, and cultural activities. It fosters bilingualism, cultural identity, and communication skills in a welcoming environments.
Year 3 to 6 play spaces
Our back grass playground features three sections: a top area with a small sports field for ball games; a middle section offering quiet, shaded spaces for relaxation, socialising, or class activities; and a bottom area where K-2 and 3-6 students can meet buddies, younger friends, or siblings. Cricket nets for PSSA cricket training and for students to use during lunchtime play time are all located in this area.
Resources and technology
Our school uses modern technology and digital learning tools. Our resources help students learn, create and stay connected. As a NSW public school, we have access to shared programs and tools available to all schools in the state.
